Dulux Trade Ultimate Professionals Competition
The shortlist has just been unveiled for the Dulux Trade Ultimate Professionals competition, after receiving hundreds of nominations from across the UK.
The Dulux Trade Ultimate Professionals competition, which set out to find the UK’s Ultimate Professional Decorator and Ultimate Professional Contractor Painter, asked homeowners and contractors to nominate those they believe go the extra mile to impress their domestic and commercial customers.
The paint manufacturer has now announced a shortlist of 10 decorators for the Ultimate Professional Decorator title, and also seven regional finalists for the Ultimate Professional Contractor Painter award. The Ultimate finalists are:

Ultimate Professional Contractor Painter
- Mark Major, ESK Decorating Contractors (Eastern)
- Barry Caple, Alfred Bagnall & Sons, Leeds (North East)
- Daniel Glover, Mason Construction (North West)
- George Campbell, Bell Group (Scotland)
- Raymond Doran, Bennett’s Decorating Services (South East)
- Ian Collings, S&S Decorators (South West)
- Steve Eaton, LSN Building Contractors (West and Northern Ireland)
Each finalist has been invited to an awards ceremony in Birmingham on the 17 November, where the national winner for both categories will be announced. As well as this prestigious accolade, the national winners for both categories will receive either VIP tickets to a sporting event or a relaxing luxury spa experience.
